A structural engineer will review architectural drawings and create a structural system for the commercial or residential building. The system will be shown in a digital model and in contract documents used for construction.

A degree is required; the applicant must have at least a BS in Civil Engineering, and a Professional License is preferred. A successful candidate will work closely with architects, other engineers and contractors to design efficient, quality structural systems… and be able to maintain grace under the pressure of working on concurrent assignments under tight deadlines.  Professional communication skills are required. Applicants must be able to succeed in a team work environment, where she/he is self-directed and responsible. Advanced experience in programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, RAM structural system, and ENERCALC, is preferred.

Benefits are available. Salary is DOE, beginning in the range of $25-35/hour.

A structural drafter or BIM modeler will create the digital model that the structural contract documents are based on. The structural model will be created from an architectural model and direction from the engineer.

A degree is not required, however the applicant must be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit. Preferably, the candidate will have 3+ years experience in an engineering or an architectural office.

Benefits are available. Salary is DOE, beginning in the range of $20-25/hour.
